• BioSpace Deployment
  • Message from Aaron (Zephyr skipper) was he'd like to do 3 in one day.  This crowds the boat and is not ideal, but we may go with this if we have divers.  Still planning....
  • Precruise has crew being Roman, Scott, Vanessa, Bruce K.
  •  BRUCE : Offshore site (SC), 52m water depth, with saline EtOH and LISST
  • MACK: Latmix site, 19m water depth, with RNALater
  • MOE:  M0 site, 72m water depth, ISUS
  • will shoot to put all instruments at 7m below surface.
  • Radios.  Still to be checked.  Brent to download all files off shore stations to clear up space.

• D-ESP Plan
  • New IEP pump to arrive by end of week.  Doug has ~3.5 weeks to install, test, and checkout.
  • Plan is to load reagents Oct 21.  From then on the ball should be kept at 16C, which means van at 10C w/ sphere heater on.
  • Plan is to try and run 3 full phases as a checkout.
  • Sphere is closed Nov 17.
